Hurst Show - we're on home turf enjoying the fun

It's been claimed we perform a rain dance at Hurst Show & Country Fayre some years, meaning our second spot moves to the tea tent as the heavens open.

This year we left the tea drinkers in peace and enjoyed glorious sunshine. We enjoy the show with its non-commercial atmosphere and lots to see and do. See you there next year?

Hump storms The Castle with OBJ Morris

Hooray, please, for our musicians who give us wonderful, live, music for our performances. This time they're pictured at The Castle Inn, Hurst.

Not once do they complain as they repeat the same tune, over and over and over again, as we seek perfection for a dance at our winter practice sessions (or something like that. . . .)

We had a great evening dancing with Bracknell-based OBJ for the kindly regulars seated in front of the pub.

We've been waiting ages for the bus to come

Hurst Morris People continue the long tradition of dancing in the middle of the highway on what we hope are quiet country roads.

The last bus had definitely gone by time we arrived at The Sun, Whitchurch Hill to dance with our friends Old Speckled Hen. But sometimes of course there was traffic. We always do our best to explain that the dance will take just another minute or two - and thank the patient drivers for waiting.

At some pubs the road is the only level space for dancing, so we are really grateful for their patience!

Damp dance at The Cricketers, pre 2018 drought

Little did we know, as we danced at The Cricketers, Littlewick Green, that later we would relish that cool damp weather in May.

We did of course have lots of fun dancing with our friends Taeppas Tump.
